Domenic Fusco III
Bio //
Domenic Fusco III is an emerging graduate composer currently based in Hartford, Connecticut.
While pursuing music with a concentration in Baritone Voice at Rhode Island College, composition arose as an interest for him, and it developed into his main passion and the core of his academic studies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition and Music History from Rhode Island College in May 2024.
As a native of Cranston, Rhode Island, Domenic’s performance experiences—ranging from his roles at Rhode Island College as President of the Chamber Singers and Bass Section Leader of the Concert Chorus, as well as a former member of the Rhode Island College Tenor and Bass Ensemble, and member of the Wind Ensemble—have strongly influenced his compositional style. His time as a performer has given him insight into the nuances of both vocal and instrumental writing, allowing him to create intricate and expressive music.
Now pursuing his Master's of Music in Composition at the Hartt School of Music, under mentor Dr. Gilda Lyons, Domenic is working on expanding his compositional horizons, striving to create new works with deep connections to his community and self.
